Our indoor PE session this term is dance where we are exploring the ways in which machines work (a link to our topic). We have worked with a partner or group to come up with different movements that portray different mechanisms such as cogs, pistons and levers.

MATHS: Our focus at the moment is Place Value. It is really important that we understand the value of the place value columns (HTO) and what digits are worth within a number. This week, we have looked at 3-digit numbers – the value of the digits but also how we can partition the number in a flexible way. We have also explored different ways to represent this.
