In English, we have been continuing learning about the Smeds and Smoos story. We have been talking about how grandmother and grandfather Smoo and Smed argued about why they shouldn’t marry. We discussed conflict and how this was resolved at the end of the story. We have been designing our own aliens, writing about them and describing them using adjectives. Today we have used clay to make a 3D version of our alien design. Some adjectives that the children used to describe their clay was: smooth, thick, funny, squishy, squashy, squelchy, sticky, cold, wet, damp.
