We have had such a fantastic start in all of our learning, but especially in our theme about Athens V Sparta. On Wednesday, we enjoyed dressing up for our Greek day which involved learning all about Ancient and modern Greece, sampling Greek food, as well as learning and performing a Greek poem in our own version of an amphitheatre. In English, we have been using the story about how Athens got its name to learn proper and common nouns. We have also looked at the features of a myth in order to write our own in the next few weeks.
