In Reading Comprehension this week, we were thinking carefully about how we can make comparisons between the beginning, middle and end of stories. We discussed how a characters feelings and actions can change, what this tells us about the character and how the moral of the story can link with this!

It was great fun to do this with picture books (such as: Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, No-Bot and The Gruffalo’s Child) rather than longer texts, and each of the groups presented their stories brilliant, thinking carefully about comparing the character at different stages of the story.
