This morning, we spent some time recapping any specific areas that the children wanted to go over in Maths. High on the list was ration some used some double sided counters to look at how we calculate the parts if the whole is given. We also touched on fractions and some mean calculations. To put all of our knowledge to the test, we worked in pairs to tackle some Kahoot! Quizzes! It really showed just how important it is to read the whole question carefully before jumping into an answer! Lots of great mathematical talk between the children to convince each other of the correct answers. Accuracy definitely increased when we all took the time to read and understand the question first!
