This week in maths, we have started our work on angles. We started the week by learning about how different types of turns, how many degrees there are in each turn and how we can describe the direction of a turn. After we had done this, we used our knowledge of a compass to help us with facing different directions and making the correct turns using the new mathematical and geographical vocabulary we had learned. This was a fun way for us to start our work on angles and direction!
