This morning, Year 5 finished their fantastic tiger artwork. They used the painting Tiger in a Tropical Storm by Henri Rousseau as inspiration. Earlier in the week, the children drew the face of a tiger considering the proportions of the facial features. They also had to think carefully about where to draw the tiger’s stripes. Today, the children added watercolour to their painting- some chose to use more traditional colours and others went more abstract. They all look very striking!
