We had a fabulous day immersing ourselves into all things books and stories.
We had a super assembly, where we found out about some of the teachers favourite stories and got to see everyone’s costumes.
In class we took part in a live lesson from the BBC. We joined hundreds of schools all over the country and learnt about what it’s like to be an author, how authors come up with their stories and listened to some famous people reading their favourite book.
We shared stories in class, listened to some audio books during snack and drew our favourite characters. It was amazing to see all the children dressed up in their costumes, they all looked brilliant!
