This morning, we spent some time getting to know both the story of Oliver Twist and Shona’s story ahead of our visit to The Derngate theatre to see Unexpected Twist. We summarised the key moments in both plots, made comparisons between the two stories, explaining how they were similar, and discussed how Michael Rosen had woven the two stories together. We also discussed what we can always do if something happens that makes us feel uncomfortable. We can’t wait to see the performance!
