This week we have focused on our art skills. We’ve learnt a lot about the illustrator and author Quentin Blake. We first tried to paint in his style using watercolour washes. Next we drew along with a demonstration, following each step carefully. I think the children’s versions of the Enormous Crocodile look fantastic. Finally we created our own characters using pen, rough lines and long pointy shapes, just like Quentin Blake. I think you’ll agree they did a great job.
