Yesterday, children from Key Stage 2 were chosen to represent the school at a Cross Country Competition at Courteenhall. This was a District Competition therefore our children were racing against the best in the South Northants and Daventry area. Because of this, there were approximately 50 children in the Year 3 race and approximately 70 children in the Year 4, 5 and 6 races.

All of the children were absolutely amazing and certainly gave their all! We even had some chilldren who earned a medal for finishing in the top 3! We had a Year 3 child who came 3rd, a Year 4 child who came 2nd and two Year 6 boys who came 1st and 3rd.

The top 20 children from the Year 5 boys and girls races made it through to the next round, as well as the top 8 boys and girls from Year 6!

A huge well done again to all of our runners! We are incredibly proud of each and everyone of you.
