This weeks celebration has been Diwali. We have learnt about the Diwali story and they children have completed some Diwali writing. They have worked hard on recalling the characters in the story and what happens. We have also read other Diwali stories and found out all about how the celebration is prepared for and celebrated. We have also practiced our 2d shapes by going on a shape hunt and making pictures in the style of Kandinsky, have used powder paint to create rangoli patterns, practiced our sound writing, explored the story of Rama and Sita using puppets, made diva lamps, have been on a leaf hunt to make leaf monsters, and so much more!
It has been a fun week finished with a day of PE, computing and a special Diwali celebration.
