Welcome to Year 2! We have all had a fun few days and the children have been wonderful! We are reading Julia Donaldson’s ‘The Smeds and The Smoos’ and have been doing lots of fun activities. We’ve painted a red Smed, a blue Smoo and mixed the colours to paint a baby Smoo-Smed purple. We’ve made alien space ships similar to the one in the story, used pom-poms to make our own characters, looked carefully at spot the difference pictures and completed a word search. Lots of fun so far in Year 2!
