Kindness Values Awards

Photos of the KINDNESS value award winners and a farewell to Mrs Borwick.

Today we gathered in small assemblies to celebrate this term’s value – KINDNESS. Mr Thomas led the celebrations and the teachers shared some wonderful comments about the award winners.

As always, Miss Wagstaff had a poem selected for the event:

I can choose to be kind,

Each and everyday.

I can choose to be kind,

To everyone, in every way.

—————————-

When I am kind to others,

I make the world a little brighter.

When I am kind to others,

I make my heart a little lighter

—————————-

So plant a seed of kindness,

And watch the world bloom.

So plant a seed of kindness,

And we’ll chase away the gloom.

During each assembly the children of the school said thank you and goodbye to the wonderful Mrs Borwick, who is leaving us today after 15 years at the school. She has worked with, and supported, hundreds of our children and been an invaluable part of the staff team – also taking part in all of our events and many of our residentials. We will miss her greatly, but wish her all the best in her future endeavours!

Well done to all of the award winners and our children who show KINDNESS in all they do at Woodland View. Next term’s value is: COOPERATION.

Please contact the office if you require a paper copy of any of these documents.
