Sound hunters

Year 1 Blog ArchivedComments Off on Sound hunters

This week in science we have been hunting for sounds and using pictures and words to show what we have found in different places around school.

We also spent the afternoon down at the Woodland Workshop where we learnt all about materials. We grouped them by their properties.

In English, we have been using actions to help us remember our sentences. We have been working hard to make our sentences more interesting by adding adjectives. We used actions to remember our capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

We have also been learning the days of the week. We did lots of fun activities to help us remember our days of the week and the order they go in.

Please contact the office if you require a paper copy of any of these documents.
