To practise our long multiplication, we went outside and did a treasure hunt. Each pair was given a clue for where to find their first challenge card; these had been hidden all around the school grounds. At each location, we had a long multiplication calculation to solve before following the next clue! Working in pairs gave us the chance to help each other to secure the method and allow us to act as ‘checkers’ to ensure our calculations were correct! This week we have definitely learned the importance of knowing our times tables facts at speed!
