Shakespeare Workshop

On Tuesday afternoon, 6CC had a special workshop to help them to really understand the story of ‘The Comedy of Errors’ ahead of our trip on Thursday. It is an extremely confusing story, with lots of errors made due to there being two sets of twins who don’t know that they are in the same place! As part of the workshop, the children spent some time getting to grips with some of the key scenes within the play so that they know exactly what to look out for on Thursday. They considered what some of the Shakespearean language means, told the story through group movement and performed some of the key dialogues. It was fabulous to see some of them developing into stronger actors and actresses right before our eyes! We cannot wait to see this project develop!
