This week the children have been learning about big things. We have discussed what big things we already know about, watched films about different big things and created a class list of big things.

Challenges this week have included writing what we wish for when we go to Year 1, talking about and ordering containers according to their capacity with a partner and sorting big and small things.

Alongside this the children have been building big things with the duplo, writing about Mr Thomas’s puffer fish, reading non-fiction books about big things and writing about them, telling stories using the castle and of course visiting our new Year 1 Teachers and talking about how we feel about this change.
