The day started with some emergency cage fortification work as 6NM’s smallest duckling – Quack Grealish – started displaying Houdini-like tendencies! It’s a good job we keep the camera fixed on the cage since we are quite obsessed with watching them. It definitely feels like we have hit the ‘toddler’ phase 😉 Thankfully, Gemma, Tyrone, Dumpling and ‘Miss Mad duck’ seem to be a bit more sensible than Jack!
After break, we moved the tables and let them have a run around in the centre of our circle. The ducklings were very confident and we became quite skilled at herding them as they are surprisingly quick!
