In English this morning, we used our work on Egyptian myths to help us create freeze frames relating to the creation story. We used the words from the text to help us create actions and some sound effects to help dramatise our performances. We also thought about how we could use our voices to tell the story and discussed the importance of volume and expression when reading aloud to help engage the reader.
We enjoyed trying to engage our audiences and everyone worked brilliantly in their small groups to make sure that we were able to retell the story using different dramatic devices.
