This week we have been learning all about where pets live. We have discussed the things that pets need to keep them healthy and safe and have talked about pets that we have or would like to have!
In Literacy the children have been describing the different homes that pets have and in Maths we have been naming and describing 2D shapes and using them to make repeating patterns.
Challenges have included making an animal face using a paper plate and collage materials, writing an information sheet about a dog and ordering items by their height.
Alongside this the children have been making up stories using the trains, constructing using the K-Nex, completing pictograms, creating their own pet rocks, completing Captain Tom’s 100 challenge, listening to and talking about different music, learning a new song and much more.
