This week in Maths, we have been working on finding the difference between amounts and comparing different statements and problems. The children have completed some really tricky problems and worked so hard.
During our topic lessons this week, we have looked at how plants have adapted to grow in the Arctic. The children then compared and drew their ideas of what the plants would look like.
We also set the children a challenge of making an igloo from lego! We say some wonderful teamwork, problem solving and conversations going on. We then watched a film showing us just how difficult it is for Inuits to make a real life igloo.
On Friday, we used our outdoor session to make our own fitness trail. We used sticks to make shapes on the ground and each shape had a particular move attached to it. We flossed, stretched and completed jumping Jacks!
