This week we have been refreshing our knowledge of how to multiply and divide using written methods.

We tested our division skills by playing ‘the remainder game’. By selecting a random four digit dividend, we then had to divide by our random selected divisor. Once we had reached our quotient, we had to look carefully at our remainder. The person with the highest remainder won a point.

After a while, we began to be a little more tactical as we were allowed to choose our own divisor rather than selecting from the cards! It got quite competitive!
