We worked in pairs to create sections of a much larger piece of art work. All we knew at this point was that we were creating a portrait of someone; all would be revealed once all sections were complete. The art work was to be completed in the style of Chuck Close who was famous for his large scale portraits, working on individual squares and considering the shades of different colours. Here are some of our sections in progress. The final image was revealed to the children this morning. Can they tell you who it turned out to be? We will share the completed images with you next week!
