Kindness at Christmas

In assembly this morning, we talked about how we can show kindness, particularly in the run up to Christmas. We know that giving gifts is one way that we can do this, but we can also share gifts that cost nothing: smiles, hugs, a helping hand. The children had super examples of how they could show kindness both at home or at school!

To finish the assembly, I set the children a little mathematical challenge….how many gifts (in total) were given in ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ song? I’ve asked the children to try and work out the total and come and find me! (They are welcome to work with you too!) There might be a little prize!
