This week we have been busy designing our own houses for the Three Little Pigs. We used straws, lolly-sticks and lots of masking tape! The children made square frames before sticking them together to make a cube. We then moved onto building the roof. I must say that the children showed great problem solving skills, super fine motor skills to stick frames together and amazing teamwork. Next week we will be putting the walls and roof onto our buildings so watch this space for our finished houses!

In English we used our Now Press Play headphones to listen to the story of the Three Little Pigs, during the story we had to become different characters and follow instructions… we built houses, tried to blow the houses down and even pretended to eat sandwiches! The children were fantastic at following the instructions and really enjoyed taking on a character.

We had fun in maths playing one more, one less bingo. We could hear lots of Bingo shouts!
