A super second week!

Reception BlogComments Off on A super second week!

This week the children have all been in together and have rekindled previous friendships as well as made new ones. They are all working hard to remember all of the new rules that we have at school and their new special places that they have on the carpet.

Alongside this the children have been enjoying exploring the indoor and outdoor classroom, participating in activities such as working together to make puzzles, tracing, making patterns with the peg boards, drawing and making pictures, using the interactive whiteboard, climbing, pretending to be Firefighters and a whole lot more.

Children have also been completing their first set of Teacher Challenges (work that must be completed during the week), these have included talking about their family and baby photographs with a friend, practising to write their name and copying numbers. With the adults the children have been showing off their maths skills and painting a self portrait.
