Who’s been in our classroom?

Year 2 BlogComments Off on Who’s been in our classroom?

We were all in for a bit of a shock on Monday morning when we came back from assembly to find that something had been into our classroom and left an awful mess! We found huge, muddy footprints over-turned chairs, mud on the floor, claw marks by the door and even holes in the ceiling! After much excitement and some great investigative work, the children came to the conclusion that it must have been… The Enormous Crocodile!!!

We decided to find out a bit more about this mysterious character by reading and analysing Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story. We also thought about how this is linked to our value this term of ‘Respect’. The children then worked in groups to think about what respect means to them and the different ways in which we can be respectful.
