This week the children have travelled to Brazil. They have learnt about the Amazon Rainforest, the Carnivals and much more. In Literacy they have listened to the story Slowly, Slowly, Slowly Sloth and have written their own versions of the story and in Maths we have been revisiting 2d shapes, talking about their properties and making patterns with them.

The children have also been making carnival masks, playing games, practising their subtraction, designing and writing about a carnival costume that they would like, telling stories using the jungle animals, learning some carnival dancing and much more.
