During the last week of half term, Year 4 went on a brilliant adventure!
We started the day by getting onto the coach – we were all very excited! We were on the coach for a little while and there was lots of singing. Eventually, we arrived at our destination – Cotswold Wildlife Park!
As we clambered off the coach, we couldn’t contain our excitement as we walked past some of the monkeys and birds which are housed there. We split into groups to wander the park and saw an amazing array of animals.
We all had a super talk from a zookeeper who worked there who told us all about the animals that lived there and told us lots more interesting information about the Amazon rainforest.
Some of our favourite animals were:
- Wolf
- Leopard
- Goat
- Lion
- Giraffe
- Snowy owl
- Penguin
- Macaw
- Squirrel monkey
- Prairie dog
- Otters
- Emperor monkey
- Meerkat
- Giant anteater
- Pig
- Zebra
- Naked molerat
- Crocodile
- Flamingo
And many more!
Below are lots of pictures from the fantastic day! (Photos were taken in our different groups)
