This week, we had our fourth session with our teacher, Shen. After a quick recap of our learning last week, we learned how to say the numbers 0 to 5 in Mandarin (0 = ling, 1 = yī, 2 = èr, 3 = sān, 4 = sì, 5 = wû). We then learned a rap to help us remember each of the numbers and their pronunciation. After we discussed the order of our names (first and surname) and how they differ from Mandarin. We also discussed how we could choose our own given names based on a list of values.
