This week the children have been pretending to be Superheroes. At the beginning of the week they turned themselves into a Superhero then in Literacy they have been writing speech bubbles saying their Superhero name and what power they have. In maths the children used 3D shapes to make towers for their Superhero to climb, naming and describing the shapes that they used.
Alongside this they children have been completing their challenges by practising their estimation skills; playing Superhero spot the difference; creating their own Superhero logo and writing the initial sound of various Superheros.
Within the classroom, the children have been writing Superhero incident forms; deciding which material would be best for a cape; telling Superhero stories using the small world people and wooden bricks; making Superhero masks and much more.
Looking forward to Super hero day tomorrow!
