Over the past two weeks, Year 4 have been very busy learning about our new topic – Henry VIII.

In English, we have been writing gruesome newspaper reports about the tragic execution of Anne Boleyn. We can’t wait to share some of the finished reports with you.

We have all enjoyed learning about Henry VIII and some of his wives and also had fun when creating freeze frames to represent some events in Anne Boleyn’s life. These helped us have great discussions and have brilliant opinions which helped us when writing eye witness statements for our newspaper reports.

We have also used the NOW>PRESS>PLAY headphones to immersive ourselves into Tudor life! We used the headphones to help us imagine what it would have been like in the Tudor times.
