Today Mr Thomas came to talk to us about Henry Reynolds. He was a gentleman who originated from a village in Northamptonshire and went to fight in WW1 as part of the Royal Scots. On 22nd August 1916 the regiment was called up to go to The Somme. In April 1917, he was involved in The Battle of Arras and was awarded the Military Cross for his bravery. Henry was also later rewarded with the Victoria Cross to honour his heroics during The Battle of Passchendaele.
