Group 1 - Day 2 (afternoon) - abseiling/zip line and inflatable challenge

This afternoon we continued to be brave! This wasn’t our time for the climb…now it was our time to do the opposite as abseiling was next! This activity took a lot of courage for us to lean out; we had to have faith in the rope. The bravery shown was next level and, as has become the norm with this group, the support was brilliant! After we had abseiled down, we took to the tower again, but this time for the zip-line. Reaching the edge and stepping off was tricky, but the children really reached for the stars and went for it!

Our final group activity for the day was the inflatable challenge. This was an activity where cooperation was key; there was no doubt that this group were simply the best at this! Starting with a team relay, we took on an inflatable obstacle course! There were some tricky obstacles…particularly the stairs! We then challenged each other to a game of bouncy dodgeball before finishing with a bouncy penalty shootout.
