Group 1 - Day 2 (morning) climbing and caving

Well, what a morning we have had! It had been a bright and sunny morning - the perfect setting for our climbing adventure. Little did we know that we had some budding gladiators in our midst - they scaled the wall so fast! Like a ninja, our quickest reached the top in just 35 seconds! Every single member of the group…once again…pushed themselves to the limit. So many of the children said they would go half way, but then went right to the top! It was equally lovely to hear how they were finding each other inspirational too! We also were amazed by their support of each other: the cheering, the advice and celebration of each other's achievements! What an enjoyable start to the day!

We then moved onto caving. We suited up, protected our knees and were ready! Some of the tunnels were a squeeze, but we channeled our inner mole-rats to wriggle our way through. Trying out lumpy tunnels, tight tunnels, strange tunnels and tiny tunnels, we all tried out something we weren’t initially sure about…even the adults! We then finished the session with a game of sardines! Every single member of our group was amazing; they are a fabulous group!
