Group 4 - Day 2 (morning) - challenge course and high ropes

After a full night's sleep, we started our long list of activities for the day! Like gazelles galloping across the savannah at sunrise, we headed to our first activity of the day: challenge course. Notoriously muddy, we were blessed with a relatively dry course; however, this didn’t stop us from still getting filthy! The challenge, which saw the children split into two teams, required lots of cooperation to help gain success! It was wonderful to see the children working as a team and encouraging each other!

After a short break, we tackled the high ropes! This activity is always a favourite of both the children and staff as it is always where fears are faced and nerves conquered! This activity includes the legendary leap of faith. The children were amazing; it was wonderful and inspiring to see the children showing courage and kindness to each other. The enjoyment at their achievements so far has been joyous to see!
