SATs Week!
As you will be aware, this week has been SATs Week at school! This is a fantastic opportunity for our Year 6 children to show off all the amazing learning that they have done since Year 3. We have been building up to this over the last few weeks and we have been thoroughly impressed with how each child has taken on their revision, applied themselves in lessons and asked for help and guidance when needed.
We are so incredibly proud of them all and how well they have achieved! They have given their all and we couldn't have asked for any more. Well done, Year 6 - you have smashed it!!
After the final paper, the children had a chance to blow off some steam out on the MUGA while enjoying an ice lolly/cream treat (we had hoped for better weather). This was a lovely sight and it was great to see the children playing and enjoying being in each other's company after a long week. We also played the 'Pirate Game' this afternoon, giving the children the opportunity to play in pairs again and earn the most points whilst swashbuckling their way through the game. It was funny to watch alliances formed and enemies made.
We have had an amazing week so far and it is one that we won't forget in a hurry. Thank you for making it so special, Year 6!
