World Book day-tastic!

Year 5 had an amazing time, celebrating World Book Day! We started the day with a super assembly that got us in the mood for a "book-tastic" day, where we were able to see all the amazing characters that had arrived in school today and Mrs Matsangou introduced a fun book title themed competition that we worked on today as a class. We looked at the ten-word tiny tales of Joseph Coelho and this inspired us to create our own ten-word tiny tales, which we illustrated beautifully. Our final activity of the day was to create our own potato book characters using our craft skills. What a fun and memorable World Book Day 2024!
