Our trip to Holdenby Woods!

The children had a wonderful day at Holdenby Woods on Wednesday!  They were very excited about travelling on a coach. When they got to the woods, the children met Becky and the bears and listened really well to a story whilst having a quick snack.  Then it was time to set off into the woods for an adventure.  The children took part in different activities, collecting smells, using touch to collect different textures, creating a symmetrical butterfly with natural objects, following clues to find their way back to their lunches, having a picnic together before finally going back into the woods to make a den for the bears!  What a very busy day they had, and they were still full of beans on the way home!  The children were all very well-behaved and enjoyed their day in Holdenby Woods.
