Bread Making

Today, we have been making bread! Over the last few weeks, we have investigated different types of bread (through a tasting experience), designed our own creative bread designs and thought about what ingredients and flavours we want our bread to have.

Today we finally made our bread! We started this morning by making a basic mix before leaving it to prove over break time. During this time, our dough became almost twice as large and gave us lots of dough to work with! We then added our ingredients to give our bread to give a new and delicious product. We have seen lots of creative designs and interesting flavour combinations.

We have been incredibly impressed with the cooperation and creativity that has been on show and hope that the children have enjoyed sampling their artistic creations.
