Theme Park Projects

This week, our wonderful Year 6 children were given a new and exciting challenge: to create a brand-new theme park! The businesses have been opened with three planners leading each project; each group has been given £5 million to build, open and run their park.

During the first lesson, the groups were tasked with designing and purchasing the attractions, amenities and landscaping for their parks. Each park needed to have three unique areas, based around a theme and engaging a different demographic in each (e.g. families, thrill-seekers, children, etc.). As you can see from the pictures, the groups had great fun when designing their new theme parks!

With our trip to Drayton Manor fast approaching, this project is preparing us for an exciting day out!
