Year 6 District Quadkids

This morning, a team Year 6 children represented the school at a regional Quadkids event at Moulton College. The event included athletic events in which all the children competed to score points for the school. The events included running, jumping and throwing: a 75m sprint, a 600m run, a mixed relay, a vortex howlet throw and a standing long jump.

The team showed amazing determination, teamwork and enthusiasm in all the events; they demonstrated our school values brilliantly too! It was wonderful to see the children enjoying themselves, giving their all and representing the school amazingly. We are very proud of them for everything they achieved today. Unfortunately, at the end of the event, we didn't find out the results as there was another event with other schools competing in the afternoon.

We await the results and keep our fingers crossed that we can progress to the county finals competition in a few weeks' time!
