Live writing sessions, shadow sculptures and carnival head-dresses!

We have had a super creative week in Year 4! We started the week by talking about our school values, then studied the artist 'Sokari Douglas Camp' and used his ideas to create shadow sculptures which featured one of our 6 values. On Wednesday, we took part in a live pebble 365 creative writing task and produced some wonderful stories! We finished the day off yesterday by exploring the importance of carnival in Brazil; designing and making our own Brazilian headdresses!
